I am a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist with over 20 years of experience training and coaching. As a horse obsessed child I started riding as a Hunter/Jumper and also competed in Eventing. I developed a life-long passion for Dressage after having the wonderful opportunity to ride and show a Grand Prix School Master. I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best trainers including George Williams, Kathy Connelly, and currently Debbie McDonald. After nearly two decades of running a training business in Ohio, with Winter training sessions in Wellington, I relocated to Wellington year-round in order to train and show in the best and most competitive atmosphere. I continue to support my students in the midwest with regular clinics and remote lessons while welcoming both year-round and seasonal students at Havensafe Farm South.
My training philosophy is that every horse has potential and that by being the best riders, trainers, and coaches possible we can help to maximize that potential. I make sure to receive constant training and education myself to help me support all of the horses I ride and riders I teach as much as possible. I also believe that horses should be happy, and for our show horses that means also being able to enjoy daily turnout and hacks. Helping students set and achieve their goals is at the heart of my training business whether it is your first trip down centerline, attaining a medal, or competing in a CDI I am here to help.
